Dr. David S. Field has practiced orthopaedic surgery in the United States since 1979. He is Canadian born and trained at Canada’s most prestigious institutions. He brings nearly 30 year’s of varied orthopaedic experience. Dr. Field’s practice entails nearly all areas of orthopaedics with a special interest in total joints, shoulders, hand surgery and sports medicine. He has been board certified in orthopaedics since 1984 and is a fellow in The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Iowa Medical Society, Dubuque County Medical Society, Iowa Orthopaedic Society, Mid America Orthopaedic Association and a Charter Member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.

Dr. Field is also the team physician for Dubuque Thunderbirds (Hockey Team).
